As this unprecedently long international break nears its conclusion, here is your round up of how the PSG players representing their nations managed to do across all of the games on Sunday.

On the second and final Sunday of this long international break, there was action for a number of PSG players representing their nations. Let's take a look at how they managed to get on.

To begin, the Portuguese mafia were in action as Portugal hosted Norway in their fourth and final game of this break, the first game on home soil since all of the drama that surrounded a certain 41-year old.

But to focus on the players actually involved, there were starts handed out to Nuno Mendes and Vitinha, with Joao Neves on the substitutes bench - the exact way as it was for the third game, against Denmark in Copenhagen.

Having conceded the opening goal of the game 36 minutes in, Portugal immediately responded. A throw in from Mendes towards the edge of the box sat up nicely for Joao Cancelo, who smashed the ball in from around the D, and the two sides went into the break at 1-1.

With just over ten minutes of normal time remaining, former PSG forward Goncalo Ramos scored the winning goal of the game, meaning that Portugal have qualified for the knockout stages (quarter finals) of the UEFA Nations League with two games to spare, having won all four of their games during this break.

Furthermore, they have practically won the group as well, sitting six points ahead of Denmark with two games to spare. The Danes will have to beat Portugal away from home by at least two goals, beat Norway and hope Portugal lose convincingly to Wales in order to top the group. So, it is effectively already done.

Winning the group is beneficial as it means they will play a runner up from another group, rather than a group winner, and they will get the second leg in Portugal. Hopefully this advantage means we could see the likes of Mendes and Vitinha given some rest in November.

The former played the full 90 tonight, whilst the latter was taken off four minutes from time. Neves, meanwhile, was an unused sub, which can only be a positive for PSG and Luis Enrique.

The international break is now over for all three players, who will return to Paris ahead of Saturday night's Ligue 1 game at home to newly promoted side Le Mans, the first time the two sides have met in the league since May of 2010. The last meeting of any sort was in the Coupe de France in February 2025.

Meanwhile, Achraf Hakimi's Morocco side faced Mali in a frendly game, having already played two of their AFCON qualifiers for next summer's tournament. For this game, the 27-year old started the game on the subs bench, and that is where he remained, getting some handy rest as an unused sub. His break is also now over.
