No PSG players spotted at UFC Paris after Friday's Monaco loss. Focused on the Champions League debut vs Slovan Bratislava.

Although some UFC fighters attended the Ligue 1 match between PSG and Monaco on Friday night at the Parc des Princes (1-2), apparently no Parisian players were at the Accor Arena for UFC Paris on Saturday.

Two major sporting events took place in Paris in recent days. On Friday night, PSG hosted AS Monaco for Ligue 1 Matchday 3 (1-2), while on Saturday, UFC Paris took place at the Accor Arena.

Enough to satisfy Paris' sports fans, whether team sports or combat sports. Especially since they are two very close worlds.

Thus, on Friday at the Parc des Princes, several UFC fighters were spotted attending the Parisians' defeat to Monaco. Frenchman Cyril Gane was present, as were his compatriot Nassourdine Imanov, New Zealander Carlos Ulberg and Moroccan Youssef Zalal.

Before the match, PSG even let them onto the pitch. However, on Saturday at the Accor Arena, no PSG player was spotted. Apparently, the Rouge et Bleu stars did not attend this evening's fights, marked by some spectacular KOs.

The Parisians had a training session scheduled at the Campus PSG (Poissy) late Saturday morning and were resting on Sunday, which would have given them time to go.

Mika Godts, for example, had time to go to Amsterdam for his farewell to his former club. In September 2023, however, a small controversy arose on the occasion of an evening of the same type.

After a truly unglamorous draw at Clermont on Saturday, a large part of the Parisian squad was in the front row a few hours later to attend the PFL evening. Kylian Mbappe, Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembele, Lucas Hernandez and Nordi Mukiele were thus found in the front row to attend Cedric Doumbe's fight. While this outing drew plenty of attention, it was less talked about than the rout at Newcastle four days later (1-4).

At the end, it is a good sign for PSG and their players to stay focused on what matters. Luis Enrique's side hasn't had the best start to the season, with only 2 points after 3 matches in Ligue 1, and with the Champions League debut at the corner, it should be a breath of fresh air for the coach, known for his strict methods and expectations, to see that his players are focused on PSG and only PSG.

Next up for Paris is their match against Slovan Bratislava for matchday 1 of the Champions League 2026-27.
