Today, Wednesday the 29th of July 2026, we provide you with a PSG transfer window update - including the latest on the likes of Ferran Torres. All in here.

We are now just two weeks removed from PSG's 26/27 season beginning, as they take on Aston Villa in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup in Salzburg, Austria.

Therefore, with such a short turnaround, it feels important that PSG begin to make moves in the transfer window. So, here are your latest updates.

Safe to say that manager Luis Enrique agrees with the above statement. Indeed so, as it is being reported by Spanish journalist Sergi Castillo that the gaffer is "annoyed" with PSG's recruitment (or lack there of) this summer. He is said to want thing to speed up so he can assemble in his squad in time for the season.

Well, he won't be happy with this news in that case. Italian journalist Matteo Moretto is reporting that PSG transfer target, Ferran Torres, is "increasingly likely" to stay at Barcelona this summer, as he "feels good at the club", and talks of an extension are set to begin soon (his current deal expires next year).

Furthermore, he mentions that the La Liga outfit are struggling to find a replacement on the transfer market. Fabrizio Romano has also said that Barcelona are insisting on keeping the forward. This will particularly frustrate Enrique as you can picture the interest being from him, considering they previously worked together with the Spain national team.

Definitely would have been a handy signing. Someone who can play in all three positions across the front line, has a knack for scoring goals off the bench, and has worked with Enrique before. Ah well.

Elsewhere, Abdel Hamed is reporting that PSG would like to sign a versatile central defender who is also capable of playing as a full back. Interestingly, he also mentions that the club would like to make the signing for a similar fee to that of the Lucas Digne signing (6-7 million Euros).

Well, you wonder why the club feel like they can't spend more than that, especially given the money made on the likes of Goncalo Ramos, Kang-in Lee and Randal Kolo Muani. They are hardly skint.

Considering the club have Nuno Mendes and Digne at left back, as well as Lucas Hernandez as a player who can play as a left sided centre back or left back, you assume this particular signing would be someone who can play at right back as well as their nominal central defensive position. This would marry up with a recent report from L'Equipe that we aggregated, stating that the club are looking for a versatile right footed defender.

Interesting stuff all round. Let's see.
