Victor Osimhen is back on PSG's radar. The Nigerian forward could cost $82M and fits Luis Enrique's need for a 'big Champions League night' striker, per reports.
PSG expects to make subtle changes to its squad ahead of next season. One of the positions to reinforce appears to be attack, and according to recent reports, Victor Osimhen is again an alternative for head coach Luis Enrique.
Osimhen, 27, is once again at the center of the European market, and his name is already being strongly mentioned in Paris, according to the Spanish outlet Fichajes. The Parisian club is preparing major changes to its forward line and is considering an ambitious operation to strengthen the team's most decisive area, according to the cited website.
The possible departure of Goncalo Ramos opens a new scenario. Ramos, 24, has recently been linked to teams such as Juventus, AC Milan, and Aston Villa. If the Portuguese leaves the Parc des Princes, the club will need a striker who fits into Enrique's system. "That is where Victor Osimhen appears, Galatasaray's offensive reference and one of the most productive attackers of the season," Fichajes explains.
Osimhen fits because of his power, competitive hunger, and ability to trouble opposing defenses from the first minute. According to the same report, Paris Saint-Germain is looking for a striker "capable of attacking spaces, dominating the area and taking responsibility on big Champions League nights."
The Nigerian offers all of that. Additionally, his previous experience in Ligue 1 with LOSC Lille facilitates both the club's internal analysis and his adaptation. Osimhen already knows French soccer, its rhythms, and its physical demands.
"That advantage carries a lot of weight in an operation of this size. PSG does not want to fail in a position that demands immediate impact. The figure being discussed is around $81.75 million, a very significant amount, but consistent with his performance and his international reputation," reporter Hector Andreu wrote.
Galatasaray does not need to sell at any price. The Turkish club knows that Victor Osimhen has become an enormously valuable piece. His numbers explain the noise: 20 goals and 8 assists in 32 official matches.
That mix has placed the striker among the most desired names on the market. Few No. 9s combine physicality, mobility, and efficiency that way. Galatasaray also understands that a strong offer from Paris Saint-Germain could change the scenario within days.
For the player, the call from Paris would mean returning to France through the big door. It would not be a step back, but a new European platform.
