Liverpool targets PSG forward Bradley Barcola again for the summer transfer window after previous offers were rejected.
The summer transfer market will open soon, and Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola, 23, now finds himself once again in Liverpool FC's sights.
Previously, Barcola had already been requested by Liverpool in March of this year, as the Reds had decided to sign not just one but two PSG stars to replace Mohamed Salah, now that he will be out this summer. However, their offers were rejected.
Liverpool wanted to have both Barcola and Desire Doue on their team, making inquiries here and there, but the Parisian club made it very clear that the duo was not available because they are a fundamental part of the squad, both now and in the future.
But now, according to TEAMtalk, Bradley Barcola could be available this summer.
Under contract until 2028, the young player's representatives have begun researching possible new destinations in case opportunities or offers arise.
The young man's new agent, Moussa Sissoko, had also opened the door to FC Barcelona after seeing that the Parisian club had not yet moved closer to an agreement with Bradley Barcola, so they are now beginning to apply pressure.
Barcola has performed effectively this season, already playing 50 matches and scoring 12 goals, making him a key piece. His youth gives him speed and versatility with long-term projection and room for improvement.
Despite that, PSG already has other players who can play in the Frenchman's position, which many fans have noticed, as he has been left out of some starting matches. So a departure to explore other teams does not seem completely crazy.
Sources close to the situation have also stated that Barcola has expressed wanting to evaluate his options and expand his talent elsewhere. As the same outlet indicates, Arsenal, Chelsea FC, Manchester City, and Manchester United are also closely following the PSG superstar.
And although it had previously been reported that, instead of choosing Barcola, Liverpool had been exploring the signing of Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, they now just have to stay alert to any moves in the coming months.
