French pundit Denis Charvet says PSG will beat Bayern Munich: 'Paris is much stronger than Real Madrid. Nothing can happen to this team.'
PSG will have to shine on Wednesday night in Munich to try to qualify for the Champions League final once again. For some observers, Luis Enrique's men are unbeatable.
Paris Saint-Germain will be watched on Wednesday night closely against Bayern Munich. The two teams put on a very high-quality spectacle last week, and expectations are logically enormous.
Enrique's men will start with a one-goal advantage at kickoff. An advantage that will likely be insufficient given the Bavarian quality. PSG will likely have to suffer and absorb pressure at times to advance. But for Denis Charvet, Paris will nonetheless have the last word.
On RMC's Super Moscato Show, the consultant explained his confidence in the Parisians' potential: "No. We remember the quarterfinal against Real Madrid, who lost at home and almost qualified in Munich."
"It is not the same context, but PSG is much stronger than Madrid. There is experience and momentum. We have the impression that nothing can happen to this PSG, no matter what happens, this team is possessed. At the Parc, I told myself that no matter what happened, they would win."
In any case, it will be necessary to confirm PSG's level once again in a big European match. As a reminder, Enrique will not be able to field Achraf Hakimi for this clash against Bayern Munich, as the Moroccan got injured in the first leg.
It is therefore Warren Zaïre-Emery who should replace him at right back. It remains to be seen what other tactical choices the Parisian side will implement to counter a Bayern that will have no option but to attack to make up its deficit.
