Crowned Champions League winner for the second consecutive time, PSG must now turn toward a transfer window that promises to be more eventful than last summer's. Proof of this is that three players wish to leave.
In the summer of 2025, PSG was very quiet in the transfer market. The capital club had just won its first Champions League title, and for the Luis Campos-Luis Enrique tandem, it was not necessary to move a squad that was close to perfection.
A year later, repeat performance? Paris has again won the European Cup, but this time, the transfer window should be more active. In terms of arrivals, with the desire to strengthen in central defense and attack, but also in terms of departures.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirms this trend. According to Romano, three players are likely to leave in the coming weeks.
The first is none other than Goncalo Ramos. At 24, the Portuguese can no longer be content with the meager playing time offered to him by Luis Enrique and wishes to leave for a top European club that would give him a chance to start.
The situation is similar for Kang-in Lee. The South Korean is appreciated by the Parisian staff, but is too far behind to compete with indispensable players such as Desire Doue, Vitinha, Joao Neves, or Fabian Ruiz.
Finally, the third player likely to leave is Lucas Chevalier. Just one year after his arrival from Lille for $55 million, the French international is well aware that his Parisian adventure is a fiasco. Blocked by an impregnable Matvey Safonov since December, the former Lille player will not linger in Paris to play as a backup.
Romano specifies that while Lee and Ramos have clearly asked their management for an exit ticket, that is not yet the case for the French goalkeeper, whose situation "is to be monitored." Paris, which will not oppose these three departures, will not give away the players in question either.
Ramos is valued at around $44 million, close to the expected $33 million for Lee. It is more difficult to know what PSG will demand for Chevalier, who could notably be the subject of a loan depending on the offers.
All three are players who have proven to have great quality. But there is little or nothing you can do when you do not fit into the coach's plans. And it is normal for PSG to trust Luis Enrique's judgment, because at the end of the day, he is responsible for the Parisians having already won two Champions Leagues.
