PSG could include Goncalo Ramos in a surprising swap deal this summer as the Portuguese striker seeks more playing time. Atletico Madrid and Premier League clubs are interested.

Several departures are on PSG's agenda this summer transfer window, starting with Goncalo Ramos. The Portuguese striker could be included by Luis Campos in a surprising swap deal.

The summer will be busy for PSG, with both arrivals and departures. Some players lacking playing time wish to leave the capital. That is the case for Kang-in Lee, who is persistently linked to Atletico Madrid.

Ramos is also a serious candidate to depart this offseason. The Portuguese striker plays very little under Luis Enrique's orders and wishes to revive his career.

At 24 years old, he dreams of landing in a top European club that will trust him as a starter. It remains to be seen whether a buyer can be found at an interesting price for PSG, which spent nearly $76 million to secure the striker from Benfica Lisbon three years ago.

Faced with the economic difficulties of several major European clubs, PSG could be forced to accept a swap deal, according to information from Romain Molina.

"There will likely be many 'player swaps' this summer to balance the books and compensate for the lack of liquidity of certain clubs," the journalist first published on his X account before specifically addressing the Ramos case.

"Example: PSG wants to sell Ramos but is well aware that his price is prohibitive for the vast majority of teams, so Luis Campos is looking, just in case, for an interesting player to put on the other side of the balance," added our colleague regarding the Portuguese striker.

It remains to be seen whether PSG will find among the clubs interested in the 24-year-old striker a player capable of reinforcing Luis Enrique's squad. The native of Olhao interests Atletico Madrid as well as several Premier League clubs, and the prospect of being able to bring him in without breaking the bank, but rather through a player swap, could well generate new interest.

Some examples of players who have recently been linked with Paris Saint-Germain are RB Leipzig’s Yan Diamande, Atlético Madrid’s Julián Álvarez, Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi, among others.

All of them are expensive players, so it would make sense to use the strategy of including another young player with a strong market value, such as Ramos, in order to secure the signing of one of the aforementioned players.
