According to reports Manchester United has reportedly called Antoine Semenyo to strengthen attacking.

As we approach the winter transfer window, Manchester United would need to address their attacking problems as new signings Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha have only scored a combined tally of four goals this season.

Despite the club repeatedly denying any activities during the upcoming transfer window after a busy summer with a spending of more than £200 million, Ruben Amorin would like to bring in some reinforcements in the middle of the season in order to strengthen his attack.

The club is reportedly looking for someone who would make an immediate impact but also at a low asking price due to their high summer spending spree.

One player who has repeatedly been into the rumoured transfers list of United is Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo. Manchester and Liverpool have also enquired about the player.

Manchester United Reaches out to Highly Rated Premier league Forward

According to Fabrizio Romano, United alongside Manchester City have called to enquire about Semenyo's situation as talked about the situation in his YouTube channel saying, "This week, Manchester United and Manchester City called to understand the situation of Semenyo. From Monday to Tuesday, some calls took place from Man United and Man City to understand the situation of Semenyo who has a £65m release clause."

The high release clause for the 25-year-old would definitely be a deciding factor in Man United's path of signing the player in January. But given the form he is in currently might influence INEOS into bringing in Semenyo from the Cherries.

The Ghanaian international has already racked up seven goals and three assists in the 15 Premier games played this season. Putting him behind Erling Haland and Brentford's Igor Thiago in the goalscoring tally.

Bournemouth have recently extended Semenyo's contract till the summer of 2030 alongside his given release clause of £65 million. This will undoubtedly give them an upper hand while negotiating the terms of his transfer to one of the premier league giants.

The underlying conditions give Man City a definite advantage over Liverpool and Manchester United as the former clubs are unlikely to spend such a huge amount during the winter transfer window.

As the transfer talks take pace, Semenyo, who is probably in his prime years, will have to choose a club where he would be a key player around whom the team builds upon but with Man City and Liverpool the forward might have to play as second fiddle due to their already stacked attacking line-up but with Manchester United things could be more brighter for Semenyo, as Amorin is in dire need of a goalscorer who is ready to hit the ground running upon arrival.
