Barcola shines, silencing fitness doubts with a Champions League goal as PSG dominates Chelsea. The team builds on a dominant performance for future success.

Author of PSG's first goal and a strong overall performance against Chelsea, Bradley Barcola told the broadcaster about his joy at finally scoring in the UEFA Champions League.

Q: It's an incredible evening; we almost found last season's PSG again.

A: "Yes, and no, we had prepared this match well. We knew we had to put intensity from the start of the match. We managed to score very quickly, but on a few small errors, we conceded goals. That's what we need to correct. But otherwise, overall, it was very good."

Q: There have been doubts about the team's athletic level for several weeks. This is a real response; that's not PSG's problem.

A: "No, physically, we've been very good for a little while now. I don't think that was the problem. But today, we were very good, so we need to continue like this."

Q: And then you, you put the ball in the net. We talked to you about it, we talked to you about it, we talked to you about it, match after match. What did you think when you saw the net ripple?

A: "I was happy. I work to score in the Champions League too. That goal does good, so I'm very happy."

Q: This match, this performance, will it do good for the whole team, for the whole club, for the rest of the season?

A: "Yes, I think it's one of our reference matches this season, so we're really going to build on what we did today, for the return leg too, because it's not over, but it was a very good match tonight."
