PSG's historic Champions League win comes with a concrete financial reward. Uncover the exact, record-breaking sum UEFA paid for their triumphant campaign.

UEFA took advantage of its annual congress on Thursday in Brussels to release its financial report for the 2024/25 season. The true amount received by Paris Saint-Germain for its historic Champions League campaign last season is now known. And it is historic for the club.

As every year, the UEFA Congress brings together the 55 national European soccer associations to make decisions that "will shape the future of the game." The 50th UEFA Congress took place on Thursday in Brussels, Belgium, in the presence of Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who was congratulated by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin for his "decisive role" in the agreement reached between UEFA and Real Madrid to end their conflict over the Super League.

On Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, UEFA also released its financial report for the 2024/25 season and the amounts redistributed to all clubs that participated in the various European competitions last season. The official amount received by PSG for its victorious and historic Champions League campaign last season has therefore been known for a few hours.

This amount had already been estimated by several agencies and specialized media outlets, and the figures circulating until now ranged between €148 million and €154 million. That was not the correct figure, which is somewhat lower, but historic for PSG and very high.

According to UEFA's financial report, PSG received €144.415 million for its victorious Champions League campaign, the first under the new format. Unfortunate finalist against PSG, Inter Milan is second in this ranking with €136.625 million earned, while the defeated semifinalists, Arsenal and FC Barcelona, received approximately €116 million.

In detail, here is how UEFA arrived at this figure of €144,415,000 for PSG:

  • Participation fee: €18.62 million
  • Value pillar: €44.729 million (corresponds to TV rights + five-year coefficient and 10-year UEFA ranking)
  • Points earned in league phase: €9.516 million
  • Final league phase ranking bonus: €8.05 million
  • Round of 16 bonus: €11 million
  • Quarterfinal bonus: €12.5 million
  • Semifinal bonus: €15 million
  • Final victory bonus: €25 million
  • Total: €144,415,000

The second-highest-paid French club last season in the Champions League was Lille, which earned €78.7 million thanks to its run to the round of 16 and its elimination by Borussia Dortmund.

For its first participation in the competition, Stade Brestois, which was eliminated in the playoff round by PSG, left with a check for €51.8 million.

For comparison, Tottenham won only €41.357 million for its victory in the Europa League last season.
