On the eve of the Paris Saint-Germain vs. LOSC Lille match, it is already possible to outline the major trends for the lineups in this clash of Ligue 1's matchday 18, which will be played on Friday at the Parc des Princes. Luis Enrique will field a very competitive team, but without Neves, who is injured.
The match after. Beaten 1-0 by Paris FC on Monday night in the French Cup round of 16, PSG will be keen to bounce back this Friday night against Lille at the Parc des Princes in the clash of Ligue 1's matchday 18.
PSG can temporarily move back to the top of Ligue 1 with a draw or a win, knowing that Lens will play against Auxerre on Saturday. For its part, Lille is in 4th place, 7 points behind PSG ahead of the match.
For this PSG vs. Lille match, Luis Enrique will still be without Achraf Hakimi and Ibrahim Mbaye, who will face each other this Sunday in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, as well as his injured players Matvey Safonov, Lee Kang-in, and Quentin Ndjantou, who are not yet fit.
The latest absence is João Neves, due to muscle discomfort. In goal, Lucas Chevalier will continue and should protect the current first-choice defense from right to left: Warren Zaïre-Emery, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho, and Nuno Mendes.
In midfield, João Neves is unavailable, and Luis Enrique might be tempted to rest Fabian Ruiz, who has played 179 of a possible 180 minutes since the start of 2026. Désiré Doué could thus drop back into midfield to accompany Vitinha and Senny Mayulu.
Finally, in attack, Ousmane Dembélé on the right, Gonçalo Ramos as the central striker, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on the left are expected, rather than Bradley Barcola. Another possible option would be to see Désiré Doué ultimately play in attack with Dembélé through the middle and Fabian Ruiz in midfield.
PSG's predicted lineup vs. Lille: Chevalier; Zaïre-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Doué, Vitinha, Mayulu; Dembélé, Ramos, Kvaratskhelia.
Another PSG predicted lineup vs. Lille: Chevalier; Zaïre-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Mayulu, Vitinha, Ruiz; Doué, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia.
On the Lille side, Bruno Genesio recently regained three African internationals (his Algerian central defender Aïssa Mandi, his Congolese central defender Chancel Mbemba, and his defensive midfielder Ngal'ayel Mukau), but will still be without his Moroccan striker Hamza Igamane, who missed his penalty against Nigeria on Wednesday night, though fortunately with no consequences for Morocco, which qualified for the AFCON final.
Lille will also be without its captain, Benjamin André, this Friday, who suffered a shoulder injury against Lyon last Sunday and is expected to be replaced either by Ngal'ayel Mukau (as during the match against Lyon last Sunday) or by Nabil Bentaleb, who has filled in brilliantly at center-back in recent weeks but could return to midfield following Alexsandro's return from suspension and Aïssa Mandi's return from the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ethan Mbappé, who scored in the first leg, is expected to be a substitute at the Parc des Princes, while Thomas Meunier is slightly ahead of Tiago Santos to start at right-back.
Lille predicted lineup vs. PSG: Özer; Meunier, Mandi, Ngoy, Perraud; Bouaddi, Bentaleb; Correia, Haraldsson, Fernández-Pardo; Giroud.
