AFC Bournemouth Women have continued their summer recruitment with two new additions in as many days, signing midfielder Kyra Robertson from Ipswich Town Women and full-back Isabel Watts following the expiry of her contract with Southampton FC Women. Robertson arrives after helping Ipswich earn promotion to the second tier in 2024/25, contributing nine assists in 16 league appearances, while Watts ends a decade-long association with Southampton, having progressed through the academy before signing her first professional deal last year.

Robertson, 23, came through the youth ranks at Norwich City Women before joining Ipswich in 2021, where she earned the club's players' player of the year award during the 2022/23 season.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Watts lifted the Hampshire FA Adopt South Women's Senior Cup with Southampton's under-21s last season, ironically defeating Bournemouth in the final, and will now hope to help the Cherries challenge for promotion to the second tier themselves.
