Jul 5, 2026 11:10 AM

Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil head into the 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 after progressing through Group C while conceding just one goal. However, the five-time world champions needed a dramatic 95th-minute winner to overcome Japan and arrive at Sunday's clash at MetLife Stadium with several injury concerns.

AFC Bournemouth teenager Rayan is expected to start on the right wing in place of the suspended Raphinha after impressing during the group stage. Although Neymar remains part of the squad, the veteran forward has featured for just 14 minutes at the tournament and is not expected to play a major role.

Kick-off is at 9pm (UK time).
