AFC Bournemouth’s international contingent have been in action across the globe during a busy September and October break.

Some players have shone, but this has largely been overshadowed by injuries to Alex Scott and David Brooks.

Let’s see how they all got on…

Alex Scott:

The biggest concern for Bournemouth is Alex Scott. The midfielder was an unused substitute as England lost 3-2 to Spain before coming on in the 70th minute of their 2-0 victory over Czech Republic.

Scott was then handed his first senior England start against Croatia, playing 70 minutes in a dominant 7-0 victory.

However, his breakthrough was subsequently overshadowed by an injury which forced him to withdraw from the England squad, providing Bournemouth with an unwanted concern ahead of the return to domestic action.

Overall, it has been a productive international window for the Cherries, with Rayan, Tóth, Gannon-Doak, Christie, Jebbison and Adams all making notable contributions for their respective countries.

Attention will now turn back to the Vitality Stadium, with Bournemouth hoping their international contingent can return fit and carry their positive form into club football.
