AFC Bournemouth have once again been recognised as one of the Premier League’s leading clubs for supporter engagement, earning a top-four finish in the league’s latest Matchday Fan Experience & Engagement Survey.

The annual study, conducted between November 2025 and January 2026, gathered feedback from more than 31,000 match-attending supporters across all 20 Premier League clubs.

A total of 878 Bournemouth fans took part, helping the Cherries achieve an overall Matchday Fan Experience & Engagement score of 77.7 out of 100 - the fourth-highest rating in the division and comfortably above the league average of 67.0. Brentford achieved first place in the survey.

The findings paint a picture of a club that continues to strengthen its relationship with supporters both on matchdays and throughout the season.

Last season, AFC Bournemouth's Hannah Powis won the award for Supporter Liaison Officer of the Year, beating off competition from Cardiff City, Stoke City, and Plymouth Argyle - and this season, once again, Cherries received particularly strong ratings for fan communication and service standards, with supporters ranking the club first in the Premier League for communication via email and telephone.

The Cherries also topped the league for the quality of stadium announcements, while the work of the club's operational teams received widespread recognition. Commenting on the accolade, stadium announcer Mike Botto dedicated the nod to Boscombe supporters, exclaiming "you lovely bunch!".

Bournemouth ranked first for the performance of ticket office staff and first for the performance of catering staff, underlining the positive experiences supporters are having across multiple touchpoints on a matchday.

Further praise came in areas relating to fan information and club communications. Bournemouth secured second place for their matchday programme and second place for communication through the club website, reinforcing the club's reputation for keeping supporters informed and engaged.

Beyond the category rankings, the survey highlighted exceptionally positive sentiment among supporters regarding the direction of the football club - which off the pitch, includes the re-development of Vitality Stadium, an ambitious project to increase the capacity of Dean Court from 11,300 to 20,200.

96% of respondents said they felt positive towards AFC Bournemouth, the fifth-highest figure in the Premier League. Meanwhile, 97% agreed that the club is well run, ranking fourth across the division, while 95% said Bournemouth has a clear long-term vision - the third-highest score in the league.

The Premier League report noted that Bournemouth's ratings for overall positivity, perceptions of effective leadership and confidence in the club's future all remain significantly above the league average, with each metric ranking among the top five in the competition.

The results represent another encouraging endorsement of the work being carried out across the club, from frontline staff and matchday operations teams to those responsible for supporter communications and engagement. With Bournemouth thriving on the pitch with a Europa League campaign ahead, plus with stability off the pitch, the latest survey suggests supporters are increasingly confident in the club's direction and the experience being delivered at Vitality Stadium.
