Former AFCB striker Callum Wilson is subject to a medical at Brentford to join The Bees on a permanent transfer, making that 3 former Cherries in Keith Andrews' attacking options. The 34 year old will join Ex-Cherries Dango Ouatarra and Jaidon Anthony in West London.
Brentford are set to secure the signature of former AFC Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, following his departure from former Premier League club West Ham United following their relegation at the end of the the 2025/26 season.
Wilson will be joining The Bees on an initial 12 month contract, and will be linking up with 2 former AFC Bournemouth attackers Jaidon Anthony and Dango Ouatarra once his move to West London gets officially confirmed, which is expected to go through by the end of the week.
Anthony, who left AFCB in July 2025, is set to join Brentford for a package of up to £20 million from also relegated club Burnley, as the winger thrived under former Cherries boss Scott Parker. Dango Ouattara, who will be a key player to look out for next season with the arrival of a proven Premier League goal scorer in Callum Wilson, left AFCB last summer too for a fee of £42.5 million.

Despite Wilson now being in his mid thirties, he was a shining light in a West Ham side that did not have many bright sparks last season. He ended up scoring 7 goals in the league for the Hammers in just over 1200 minutes, which was the 14th highest goals per 90 ratio in the entire league.
For reference, the only Bournemouth player that bettered Wilson's goals per 90 ratio was Junior Kroupi, who averaged a whopping 0.7 goals per 90 in the Premier League, landing himself 3rd in the list.

If Wilson is used predominantly as a game changer to finish off games, which seems to have been his role over the last couple of years, that could also potentially help out his rather concerning injury record, as reflected in him only managing to accumulate 1247 minutes played in the last campaign.
