It was another polished display from the Cherries as they extend their Premier League unbeaten run to thirteen games. A spirited team performance with many individuals impressing once again, as Andoni's men continue to end the season in style.

Sam Davis and Tom Jordan go over the Player Ratings

It's fair to say that Bournemouth found another result within themselves to make the Premier League take note, in a well rounded and well drilled team display - a collective performance that allowed the Cherries faithful to enjoy another gruelling trip up north, with every man playing their part.

Djordje Petrovic:

The Cherries stopper wasn't overly busy with Bournemouth rarely under any sustained pressure throughout the game, but when called upon the Serbian was flawless. A top point blank save just before the break and a crucial block with his feet in the latter stages of the game, were the main moments for Petro and he stood up when required. 8/10.

Alex Jimenez:

A fantastic display from the exciting right back, some pivotal recovery tackles and energy to burn as he so often shows. He's once again avoided receiving the dreaded tenth booking, despite Harvey Barnes running directly at him early on. Pretty much perfection for Jimi and a thoroughly deserved. 9/10.

James Hill:

An assured performance at the heart of the defence one more from Hilly, albeit will be frustrated at being drawn in for Newcastle's goal. He used the ball well, dominated aerially and kept up his consistently solid displays that we've seen for a while a now. 8/10.

Marcos Senesi:

Marcos was a warrior alongside Hill at the back, often being tasked with trying to start of many of the Cherries' attacks from deep. It's a common theme that the Argentine is asked to try and provide those decisive passes from the back and he never hides from that role, as well as being commanding in his duels. 8/10.

Adrien Truffert:

Probably the left back's most polished performance with the Frenchman recording his first Bournemouth goal to ultimately win the match for the Cherries. A well worked goal that he helped start as well as finish, his penetrative passes were on show throughout and he was certainly taking more risks offensive, which deservedly paid off for him. 9/10.

Alex Scott:

Bournemouth's starboy was his usual classy self, not only one the ball but off it too. Scott's magic footwork is always on show but his work without the ball was evident on Tyneside, relentless from minute one. 8/10.

Ryan Christie:

All action and a joy to watch, Ryan was immense for a good hour in the heart of the Cherries midfield. He ran his race halfway through the second period, but prior to that he was nothing short of outstanding. 8/10.

Rayan:

His direct running from wide provided the assist for the opener, just need to see it more often. Very exciting but equally raw, once again the Brazilian took his moment to tick off another goal involvement in the Premier League. 8/10

Marcus Tavernier:

The Swiss army knife of the Bournemouth squad was crucial to the win. In the right place for the opener and done well to provide the initial ball in the box for the winner, he's really delivering of late, whether that be out wide or more centrally. Edges the player of the match award for his key involvements in the goals. 9/10.

Eli Kroupi:

Always a threat and always lively, the French sensation is putting in some really sacrificial performances from a deeper position than he'd probably like. 8/10.

Evanilson:

Bournemouth's frontman will be frustrated that he missed a big chance to double the Cherries lead, but his selfless way of leading the line was pivotal in every offensive move for Iraola's side. 8/10

The Subtitutes:

All the Cherries subs came on to good effect, slotting into their roles and continuing to perform to the levels to keep the visitors in the ascendency until the full time whistle.
