Arsenal have been handed a boost ahead of their trip to Anfield, as three players are spotted in the team’s pre-match walk of Liverpool this morning.
Arsenal have received a triple injury boost ahead of this afternoon's trip to Anfield, with Riccardo Calafiori, Noni Madueke and Christos Tzolis all spotted on the squad's pre-match walk this morning.
All three missed Tuesday's Carabao Cup defeat at Fleetwood Town. Madueke was ruled out with an ankle problem, whilst Calafiori was considered a doubt after picking up a knock against Everton. Tzolis has been out with a hamstring injury picked up on international duty.
On Friday, Mikel Arteta said Madueke would face a late fitness test, while Calafiori and Tzolis would be available 'if everything is okay' in training.
Madueke's return would be a major lift, with Bukayo Saka injured and Max Dowman suspended for the trip to Liverpool.
A victory for Arsenal would be the first time that Arteta has won at Anfield in the Premier League, and the first time since September 2012.
