Chelsea face Everton on Saturday afternoon, looking to claim back-to-back wins in the Premier League.

Xabi Alonso's side head to Merseyside aiming to build on their emphatic 5-1 win over AFC Bournemouth last weekend, which saw the Blues claim their first league victory since August.

The trip to face Everton is arguably their hardest league fixture of the month, with Tottenham and Manchester United to follow at home.

Everton remain undefeated in the league so far this season, with two wins and four draws from their first six games. They are level on points (10) with Chelsea.

Alonso's side were heavily beaten by Everton away from home back in March, suffering a dismal 3-0 defeat, so they will be keen to ensure they put things right this time around against the Toffees.

Like they needed to in March, Chelsea need to address the glaring issue in defence. They only conceded one goal against Bournemouth, an improvement, though Everton will likely pose a greater threat.

Here are all the details you need ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against Everton.

Date: Saturday 17th October 2026

Kick-off time: 12:30pm (UK)

Stadium: Hill Dickinson Stadium

Chelsea were handed a huge boost by the return of Moises Caicedo against Bournemouth. Alonso couldn't wipe the smile off his face when speaking about the Ecuadorian; his impact was noticeable.

Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro were both fit enough to start against the Cherries, and will be keen to continue in attack along with Morgan Rogers.

Reece James is unavailable for the trip to Everton after undergoing minor knee surgery. Alonso has either Jordan Henderson or Romeo Lavia to choose from at the start, with Valentin Barco also another option for the Blues.

Henderson's unexpected but incredible brace against Bournemouth has put him in contention to start alongside Caicedo.

Marco Palestra made his debut for Chelsea last weekend and will be desperate to continue against Everton, possibly starting rather than coming off the bench.

On the other side, Chelsea could face former players Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tyrique George. Dewsbury-Hall has made a blistering start to the campaign, scoring two goals in his first six league appearances.
