Chelsea gave confirmation regarding the four players on their official website.
Chelsea is certainly going for a rebuild during the upcoming summer transfer window following their disastrous campaign, which ended a few weeks ago.
During the previous window, the Blues almost spent a fortune on attacking reinforcements as they brought in Liam Delap, Estevao Willian, Alejandro Garnacho, Jamie Gittens, and Joao Pedro in order to strengthen their attack.
But as the season gained momentum, the Chels' fortunes went southwards as they relieved Enzo Maresca of his duties and brought in Liam Rosenior as their new manager.
But the Englishman was not any better, as the Blues got knocked out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain under Rosenior, as the Blues were quick to sack him before the FA Cup semi-final against Leeds, while bringing in Calum McFarlane as their interim manager, only to finish 10th in the Premier League table, with no chance of playing in Europe next season.
As a result, the Chels are once again looking towards the upcoming transfer window with renewed plans under new manager Xabi Alonso, and it seems the Stamford Bridge side has started.
According to Chelsea's official website, the Blues have decided to part ways with four youngsters before the start of pre-season.
First off is Brodi Hughes, who is now set to leave the club after a span of 13 years playing for the Blues. He was on loan at AFC Wimbledon during the previous campaign.
The defender hopes to prove his worth in the lower divisions before making his way back into the top flight in the future.
Richard Olise is the second player named in the Blues' list of departures, as his exit has now been confirmed after a decade of growth in Cobham, while his brother Michael Olise is looking to win the World Cup for France after a successful campaign with Bayern Munich.
Next up is Sam Rak-Sakyi, the midfielder, who has made four senior appearances up until now, as he joined the club at the age of eight and has also featured in the Conference for the Blues during the 2024-25 campaign.
Last on the list is Jimi Tauriainen, who has already made his debut for Chelsea in three different competitions, first in the Carabao Cup final, then against Leeds during their FA Cup fixture, and has also featured for the Blues in the Premier League.
Certainly, all of these youngsters have had their chances for the Chels, but unfortunately for them, this looks to be the end of the road as the Blues now gear up to fill the void at Cobham during the next few months.
Apart from the four youngsters leaving, Chelsea could also see a few of the first-team stars during the next couple of months, as the likes of Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella are being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
