Ahead of tomorrow evening's trip to the South Coast in the Premier League, let's take a look at all you need to know about our familiar opposition

Tomorrow evening, for round 34 of the 25/26 Premier League season, Chelsea will make the trip to the Coast to face Brighton and Hove Albion.

The game was originally scheduled to be played this weekend, but due to the team's FA Cup semi final with Leeds United at Wembley, this game has been put forward by four days.

So, what can we expect from our hosts?

It has been a weird season for Brighton so far. After a so and so but overall decent start to the season, they hit a terrible run of form in the winter time, winning just once in 13 Premier League games, with a solitary victory at home to newly promoted side Burnley.

However, things have been much improved of late. The Seagulls won five of six Premier League games - with the solitary defeat being at home to Arsenal courtesy of a deflected goal - before drawing 2-2 with Spurs on Saturday thanks to goals in stoppage time of both halves.

In terms of dangermen, Brighton have plenty of players who can hurt you. Chelsea fans will be all too familiar with veteran striker Danny Welbeck, who scored two goals in the reverse fixture back in September, and has scored against the club six times during his career.

The depth of their team is seriously impressive too. Karou Mitoma and Georgino Rutter both came off the bench to score against Spurs last time out, and will be in contention for a starting spot in this game too - albeit Mitoma was forced off towards the end of the game.

Winger Yankuba Minteh is a serious threat with his blistering pace. The Gambian international is capable of playing on both sides, and assisted Welbeck with a cross during the reverse fixture.

In defence, Brighton have a lot of technicians. Left-back Ferdi Kadioglu can play on either side and scored the goal to send Turkey to the World Cup play-off final that they ended up winning.

Meanwhile, midfielder Mats Wieffer has been filling in as an inverted right-back. Central defender Jan Paul van Hecke has been linked with a move to Chelsea recently.

Midfielder Pascal Gross is back at the club after 18 months away at Borussia Dortmund. The German international scored and assisted against the Blues back in the 22/23 season, and is capable of unlocking a defence with his creative passing.

No doubt about it, this will be a very hard game. The two sides are in completely opposite form, and you'd imagine Liam Rosenior's side will have one eye on the FA Cup semi final. Let's see.
