Ahead of the absolutely massive FA Cup semi final tie with Leeds United at Wembley, here is all you need to know about the opponents on the day

It's safe to say it has been a very intense week for Chelsea. On Tuesday night, the team suffered yet another defeat, losing 3-0 away to Brighton and Hove Albion. Within 24 hours, Liam Rosenior was sacked after just three months in charge.

Nevertheless, the good thing about football is that there is always another game, and they don't come much bigger than an FA Cup semi-final, with the Blues taking on historical rivals Leeds United at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

So, what do we need to know about the opponents?

Well, unfortunately, we already know that Daniel Farke's side has managed to get a result against Chelsea twice this season. First, they beat Enzo Maresca's side 3-1 at Elland Road back in December, before a come-from-behind 2-2 draw against Rosenior's team in mid-February.

One of Leeds' best players this season has been Germany international Anton Stach, who signed from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim last summer. Fortunately, he is set to miss this game through injury.

However, since he has been out of action, Ao Tanaka - who was a crucial part of their Championship-winning side last season - has come back into the team, and looked just as good as Stach, playing particularly well in their win over Manchester United at Old Trafford a couple of weeks ago. He scored in the game back in December.

England international Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored 11 Premier League goals this season, a tally better than any Chelsea player not named Joao Pedro. That said, he has only scored one non-penalty goal since the 28th of December.

Nevertheless, he did score from open play in the reverse fixture, and did score two goals against the club for Everton all the way back in 2019, so let's hope there isn't a repeat of that.

Aside from the 28-year-old, Noah Okafor has been a serious threat of late, scoring twice against United and also scoring and assisting against Wolves in the subsequent game. He found the net in the 2-2 draw in February. His pace could be a serious thorn in the Chelsea side.

At wing-back, Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson have been very good at getting up and down the flanks and contributing at both ends of the pitch. The former registered an assist in the match-up at Elland Road.

Well, another tough game. A defeat at Leeds, a draw at Chelsea, time for a win at Wembley? Let's see.
