The latest edition of the round-up of Everton's international players during the three-week break.
It's been a disappointing few days in terms of Everton representation on the international stage for the Toffees.
In reality, it's been a mixed period for our international Blues. Brennan Johnson and Wales have struggled when it comes to results, Braiden Graham failed to make the squad in Northern Ireland's first game, and Jordan Pickford found himself on the bench against Spain.
The fixtures continue with a number of Everton players still on international duty, while the rest of the squad are back at Finch Farm in training. Christian Norgaard joined the group for the first time since his move to Everton during the summer transfer window.
Another set of fixtures have passed for Everton's international's, but it's been a disappointing period for the Blues with their respective countries.
Everton's international Blues
Starting with Monday, Vitalii Mykolenko was missing from Ukraine's squad to face Georgia for their Nations League fixture. Ukraine's manager Andrea Maldera confirmed before the match that he didn't want to risk Mykolenko after he picked up a problem, hopefully hinting that it's nothing too serious.
This time around, Graham was given a place in the squad for Northern Ireland's Nations League game against Hungary. The Everton youngster, unfortunately for him, failed to come off the bench.
Another disappointment, or perhaps a positive for Everton, was that Harrison Armstrong was among the substitutes for England U20s vs France, despite starting their opening game of the international break. England secured a 2-1 victory in that game, with Armstrong coming off the bench on around the 60th minute.
Jarrad Branthwaite, James Garner, and Jordan Pickford were all in the England squad for their game against Czechia on Tuesday night, but all three failed to come off the bench. Both Branthwaite and Garner were involved off the bench against Spain, but they had no such luck this time around.
On a more positive note, Kai Hutchison featured for Scotland U17s once again on Tuesday. The young forward started the game and scored in the second half as Scotland came back from three goals behind against Belgium to secure a draw. That's Hutchison's second goal of the international break from as many starts.
Who's up next?
On Thursday evening, Wales face Norway in the Nations League, where Johnson and Tom King could feature. Johnson has started both of their games so far, but King is yet to be involved.
Jake O'Brien's Ireland will also be in action as they host Austria, before Tyler Dibling, Tyrique George, Mykolenko, and Graham could all be in action on Friday.
