Everton's international contingent continue to shine, with Tyrique George a standout.
Everton had four players whose international side's were featuring on Friday night.
Braiden Graham's Northern Ireland faced Georgia, Tyrique George and Tyler Dibling's England U21s faced Kazakhstan, while Ukraine faced Hungary, with Vitalii Mykolenko involved.
Everton have a number of players currently on international duty with their respective countries, leaving a small number of players remaining at Finch Farm for training.
So far, we've seen Brennan Johnson and Jake O'Brien feature for Wales and the Republic of Ireland, respectively, with both of them on the end of defeats. Harrison Armstrong started for England's U20s, who secured a 3-1 victory over Italy.
Kai Hutchison was also involved for Scotland U17s, scoring a first-half goal in a 5-0 win over Real Murcia.
A number of players were also involved on Friday night, so let's get into it.
Everton's international's
Dibling and George both started on the bench for England U21s against Kazakhstan on Friday evening.
England eventually secured a 4-2 win after going into half-time with the scoreline level at 2-2.
George came off the bench after 39 minutes following an injury to Jamie Gittens, while Dibling came on in the final 11 minutes to replace Fulham's Josh King.
Dibling had very minimal time to make an impact, but George was impressive on the left-hand side of attack.
George forced the opposition goalkeeper into a save just a few minutes after the break, while he was a constant threat for England throughout. He produced two key passes, completed seven successful dribbles, and won seven ground duels.
George has certainly done himself no harm as he looks to earn himself a start in their next game against Slovakia.
Moving onto Northern Ireland, Graham was unfortunately not named in the squad for their game on Friday night. At his age, it shouldn't be a huge surprise, but hopefully he will at least get a run out over the international break.
Ukraine had a difficult trip to Hungary, but they ran out 1-0 winners. Mykolenko played the full 90 minutes for his country, helping them keep a clean sheet. The Everton left-back made 16 defensive contributions, including 12 clearances and three recoveries.
Who's next?
On Saturday 26th September, the England trio are in action, facing Spain at 7:45pm. Jarrad Branthwaite, James Garner, and Jordan Pickford could all be involved, but it would certainly be a surprise if all three started the game.
As long as they don't get injured, I'll be pleased for all three of them to be involved.
