Everton face an Arsenal side competing for the Premier League title, with David Moyes' men in search of their first away victory of the season.

Everton travel down to the Gunners in the Premier League on Saturday, and David Moyes is keeping his cards close to his chest.

As per usual, Moyes sat down to do his press conference on Friday afternoon, arriving fashionably late.

Usually, the Everton manager will provide an update on team news heading into the next game, but he made a clearly conscious decision not to provide any information.

That certainly hints that something might have happened in training this week, as many would have been expecting Everton to have a fully fit squad. That may still be the case, but by the way, Moyes certainly wasn't looking to let Arsenal know, regardless.

The only piece of information us fans do have is that Jarrad Branthwaite wasn't spotted in any of the training footage released this week.

It would be a huge blow if Branthwaite is unavailable for Everton, but hopefully the Toffees are just managing his load at the moment.

 Team news

In terms of Arsenal team news, they will be without Christos Tzolis and William Saliba for this game as they continue their recoveries from injuries.

The latest blow for the Gunners is that Bukayo Saka looks set to be out for a number of weeks, meaning he will miss the game against Everton on Saturday.

Piero Hincapie has been passed fit, although there's not a strong chance that he was going to start anyway.

In terms of Everton team news, as mentioned, there's little to report. Moyes did suggest that Christian Norgaard is perhaps further behind than he expected, given his cameo against Chelsea last weekend.

It was certainly a disappointing debut for Norgaard, who is clearly not up to full fitness just yet.

Predicted XI

Pickford; O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Garner, Armstrong; Rohl, Dewsbury-Hall, Grealish; Barry.

Given Moyes' mysteriousness, it's perhaps a little difficult to predict his starting eleven for the game against Arsenal.

We're going off the assumption that there are no fresh injuries, given that's the information we do know heading into this game.

Whether a secret injury emerges remains to be seen, but we could still see some changes regardless.

Jake O'Brien might be brought into the defence to help contain Arsenal's set-piece threat while also being able to tuck in to make a back three.

Other than that, it's difficult to see too many changes from Moyes heading into this game unless there are any fresh injuries.
