The lineups for Liverpool v Brighton have been confirmed ahead of this 2 pm (GMT) kick-off at Anfield.
Liverpool welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Merseyside this afternoon, as Andoni Iraola's side look to continue their winning run and form a wave of momentum that can carry them through the next few crucial weeks of the season.
The away side arrives at Anfield off the back of a scoreless draw in the Europa Conference League during the week, while LFC will be full of confidence after coming from 2-0 down to win against Villarreal in the Champions League 4-3.
Starting XI
Alisson Becker
In goal is Liverpool's long-time number one, and despite links with him and a move back to his native Brazil this week, he will be laser-focused on getting three points for the Reds.
IMAGO / SportimageMilos Kerkez
After being given a rest during the week, with Kostas Tsimikas playing the full 90 minutes, Kerkez returns to the starting XI.
Virgil van Dijk
A few shaky moments across the last few games, with the biggest of all coming in Villarreal's midweek opener. So he will be looking to put that behind him today and put on a dominant defensive display.
IMAGO/Pro ShotsJeremy Jacquet
The French defender has rarely had an off game so far for Liverpool, and alongside the experience of Van Dijk, they will be looking to keep a high-scoring Brighton attack quiet.
Ronald Araujo
After a tactical early withdrawal at half time in the Champions League, Araujo retains his place in the right-back role
Ryan Gravenberch
Having played in a couple of different roles last time out, the Dutch midfielder starts again as he looks to be settling into Iraola's side after a slow start.
Alexis Mac Allister
Another player who, despite the late arrival for pre-season, has been an essential cog in Liverpool's strong start to this campaign.
Bradley Barcola
The high-profile winger looks to continue his good form of late today after an assist in his last league fixture.
Florian Wirtz
The German has started to hit a little bit of form in recent weeks, and Iraola and Reds fans around the world will be hoping that he can once again show his quality against a top opponent this afternoon.
Cody Gakpo
The Dutch winger returned from injury for the last game and played a full 90 minutes, and he has been selected from the start.
Alexander Isak
Liverpool's number nine looked off the pace when he came on against Villarreal, but with a lack of options and the Swedish striker having five goals in six games in the Premier League, he starts up front.
