Liverpool-linked winger Yan Diomande is attracting increasing attention ahead of the summer transfer window with several top clubs reportedly monitoring his situation.

Amidst the speculation, Ivory Coast head coach Emerse Fae has addressed the contrasting reports about the young attacker’s future.

Speaking about the ongoing rumours, Fae highlighted how the narrative around Diomande changes depending on location and media coverage.

“When we were in France, during the preparation, journalists told me he was about to sign with PSG. Here, they tell me he’s about to sign with Liverpool!”

These comments underscore the scale of speculation surrounding the 19-year-old, who is increasingly seen as one of Europe’s most promising attacking prospects.

Diomande’s performances haven’t gone unnoticed with Liverpool among the clubs credited with strong interest in the RB Leipzig winger.

PSG are also believed to be long-term admirers while other European sides are closely monitoring developments.

His pace, direct style and ability to play in multiple attacking positions make him a highly sought-after player in the current market.

Liverpool is expected to be active in attacking areas this summer as part of a wider squad rebuild under Andoni Iraola.

With uncertainty surrounding Mohamed Salah’s long-term future and a need for more depth in wide positions, the club is exploring options across Europe.

Diomande is considered one of the younger players that fits Liverpool’s recruitment strategy although any potential move is likely complicated by competition and valuation.

For now, the situation remains speculative.

There’s no agreement and no club is believed to be close to finalising a deal.

But as Fae’s comments highlight, Diomande’s future is already the subject of widespread and often conflicting reporting across Europe — a sign of the growing interest in one of the continent’s most exciting young attackers.
