Just when Liverpool needed a little stability, the treatment room has become an increasingly unwelcome talking point.
Both Dominik Szoboszlai and Jeremie Frimpong suffered setbacks against Brentford, leaving Andoni Iraola with further selection headaches and raising questions about how Liverpool will cope without two players who bring energy, athleticism and attacking intent to his side.

Perhaps the most concerning development surrounds Szoboszlai, whose previous hamstring problem appears to have resurfaced before he had fully recovered.
Speaking about the Hungarian international, Iraola explained:
"He has tried, he has trained the last days, but we didn't know the minutes he'd have. It's not another injury, he's still not healed."
The Liverpool boss also acknowledged that the midfielder may have returned before his body was ready.
"It was probably not healed enough, so we need more time with him."
For Liverpool, that admission is particularly frustrating. Szoboszlai's relentless running, ability to cover ground and willingness to press from the front make him an important component of the midfield.
His absence could force Iraola into another tactical reshuffle at a time when consistency is desperately needed.

Frimpong's afternoon proved even shorter, with the Dutchman introduced at half-time before being forced off just seven minutes later.
Iraola revealed the thinking behind his introduction, admitting the gamble quickly backfired.
"He finished cramping the other day in the Champions League so we knew he wouldn't start the game.
We were playing against 10 and I thought he was going to give us more going forwards but he felt straight away something in the muscle."
The setback is another bitter disappointment for Frimpong, whose explosive pace and attacking instincts offer Liverpool a different dimension down the right flank.
Victory At Significant Cost
Despite the injuries, Liverpool fought back from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory, with Victor Muñoz equalising before Alexander Isak completed the comeback.
However, the result came at a significant cost. With Champions League commitments approaching and an already stretched squad, losing two more players is hardly ideal.
Iraola has indicated both could be missing for "some time", although no definitive return dates have been established.
For Liverpool, the priority must now be ensuring neither player is rushed back prematurely.
Three points were secured at Brentford, but the longer-term consequences could prove considerably more costly.
