Liverpool have been linked with Fulham's Josh King, as the teenage star continues to impress for Fulham, but the Reds face competition from Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool have been given a fresh boost as they continue to search for players who can come in and help Andoni Iraola succeed as Reds boss.

The latest player is someone who is one of the Premier League's brightest young talents and has featured heavily in the last year for Fulham, and his name is Josh King.

Josh King Player Profile

The 19-year-old is a Fulham academy graduate, and having risen rapidly through the West London ranks, it quickly became clear that he was a special talent.

Playing primarily as a number 10, King would go on to make his professional debut for Fulham in August 2024, coming on as a second-half substitute in the Carabao Cup against Birmingham City.

Four months later, Josh King would make his first start in the Premier League at just 17 years old. The remainder of the 2024/25 season would be King adjusting to training and life as a top-level professional player, but in the 2025/26 campaign, he would become a mainstay in the starting XI.

Starting 15 games out of the 32 he played in the league, King would grow in confidence every week, showing everyone why Fulham rate him so highly.

The late line-breaking runs into the opposition box, ability to find pockets of space between defence and midfield and arguably the most outstanding attribute of having such a high work rate, with the desire to win the ball back high up the pitch and get his team moving forward, are clear for all to see.

This Season So Far

Going into this campaign, despite the change in management with long-time boss Marco Silva departing Craven Cottage and in his place former Real Madrid interim head coach Alvaro Arbeloa, Josh King has become even more important.

Having started every game for Arbeloa's side, he has been outstanding in an underperforming Fulham side, scoring two goals in the opening five Premier League fixtures.

So it is no surprise that King is being linked with moves away to a bigger club, with sides from around Europe trying to secure the young Englishman's signature.

What Has Been Reported?

According to Swiss outlet 442.ch, Liverpool, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are the three sides that have shown the most amount of interest in Josh King.

And while this source isn't one with substantial pedigree at breaking transfer news, it is still an interesting scenario to consider.

The report goes on to say that Fulham are not open to a sale in the January window, but could consider offers next summer if the valuation of the player is met.

The price tag placed on King by Fulham is said to be around £50 million, with his contract running until 2029.
