0%Liverpool have reportedly joined the race for Bayern Munich sensation Lennart Karl, with the Reds making enquiries about the highly rated 18-year-old amid growing uncertainty surrounding his future in Germany.
Liverpool Join The Race
According to CF Bayern Insider journalist Christian Falk, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have all contacted Bayern Munich to establish whether Karl could become available, following recent developments at the Bundesliga champions.
The German youngster, valued at approximately €60 million (£50.1 million), has attracted considerable attention after an impressive breakthrough campaign, although his situation at the Allianz Arena has recently come under scrutiny.
Speaking to CF Bayern Insider on 30th October, Falk revealed that Premier League clubs had been alerted by comments from Bayern honorary president Uli Hoeness, who publicly questioned the teenager's attitude.
Hoeness recently suggested Karl needed to remain grounded despite his rapid rise, insisting that young players must demonstrate humility rather than believe they have already reached superstar status.
Those remarks appear to have encouraged English clubs to investigate whether tensions could create an unexpected transfer opportunity.

Karl is regarded as one of Germany's most exciting attacking prospects, capable of operating centrally or cutting inside from the right side onto his preferred left foot.
The teenager made history in October 2025 when he became Bayern's youngest-ever Champions League goalscorer, finding the net against Club Brugge aged just 17 years and 242 days.
However, his opportunities have become more limited this season. According to GOAL, Karl has registered one goal and two assists across 11 competitive appearances during the 2026/27 campaign, having struggled to replicate his previous form.
For Liverpool, his technical ability, versatility and enormous potential make him an intriguing long-term attacking option.

Despite growing Premier League interest, Bayern have no immediate intention of allowing Karl to leave.
His current contract runs until June 2029, and although discussions over another extension have reportedly not taken place, the German giants remain committed to his development.
Falk also highlighted Karl's professional response to Hoeness's criticism, praising his performance against Magdeburg in the DFB-Pokal.
Crucially, there is currently no indication that Liverpool have submitted a formal offer or entered transfer negotiations.
For now, Liverpool's enquiry represents an early expression of interest rather than an imminent transfer.
However, with Karl's future attracting increasing attention, the Reds will undoubtedly be watching closely for any opportunity to secure one of European football's brightest emerging talents.
