Are you happy with the signing of Bradley Barcola?

Liverpool have reportedly completed an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for Bradley Barcola, with the French winger now poised to become the latest statement addition at Anfield.
Deal Worth
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Liverpool have struck a deal worth £106million guaranteed, plus a further £17million in potential add-ons, a package that could eventually reach £123million.
Barcola is expected to undergo his Liverpool medical within the next 24 hours before signing a five-year contract.
It represents a huge show of ambition from the Reds and brings an end to weeks of speculation surrounding the France international.

Liverpool’s interest in Barcola has been one of the major stories of the summer, but convincing PSG to part with one of Europe’s most exciting wide players was always going to require a significant financial commitment. The reported package shows just how highly Liverpool rate the 23-year-old.
Barcola brings exactly the sort of qualities Liverpool have traditionally looked for in their wide players: explosive acceleration, confidence in one-versus-one situations and the ability to attack space both with and without the ball.
Predominantly operating from the left, he is capable of stretching defensive lines before driving inside towards goal, while his age means Liverpool are investing in a player who should still have his peak years ahead of him.
The transfer would also continue what has been an aggressive approach to squad building at Anfield. Rather than simply adding depth, Liverpool are targeting players capable of immediately increasing the level of competition within the starting XI.
And Barcola certainly fits that description. For PSG, losing the Frenchman represents a significant departure, but Liverpool’s enormous offer appears to have finally broken their resistance.
A potential €145million package makes this one of the biggest transfers of the summer and underlines the lengths the Reds have gone to secure their target.

There remains one significant hurdle before supporters can properly celebrate: the medical.
Providing that passes without complication, Barcola will put pen to paper on his five-year contract and begin life on Merseyside.
After weeks of rumours, negotiations and uncertainty, Liverpool finally appear to have their man, and they have paid superstar money to get him.
