Andrey Santos joined Manchester United in a £50 million move from Chelsea, and his former teammate Cole Palmer has now sent him a message wishing him well.
Manchester United signed Andrey Santos for £48 million from fellow Premier League side Chelsea. There are also £2 million in add-ons, as well as a 10% sell-on clause for the London-based side.
The Brazilian became the first signing of the summer and has already joined Michael Carrick's training squad ahead of the first match of pre-season.
United face Wrexham in Helsinki, Finland, on Saturday 18 July before matches against Rosenborg, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Leeds United and Rúben Amorim's AC Milan.
Santos has now been joined by Youri Tielemans and Karl Darlow. Tielemans moved to Old Trafford for £35 million - the fee of his Aston Villa release clause - while Darlow was a free transfer, having left Leeds United at the end of last season.
Andrey Santos was the first to be announced by Manchester United, and he has already received support from his former Chelsea teammates, including boyhood United fan Cole Palmer.

Cole Palmer, despite coming through at Manchester City, was known to be a Manchester United fan as a child.
When Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, many fans have pointed towards Cole Palmer as the natural alternative, given his former love for the club.
When Andrey Santos was announced as a Manchester United player, he told club media that Palmer had sent him a message wishing him well ahead of next season.
"I'm so excited to be here," Santos said. "So pleased. I got a message from Cole [Palmer], he sent a message because he was born here [Manchester], so he knows everything here.
"He said all the best for you, for your career, you deserve this, a lot of things, so I'm so excited to be here in Manchester with my new teammates."
Santos could make his Manchester United debut against Wrexham this weekend, but could face his former club, Chelsea, as early as October if the Premier League fixture is not rearranged.
United need another midfielder
No, not Cole Palmer. Steady on.
Manchester United need another holding midfielder to add to their ranks before the club returns to the Champions League next season.
Santos and Tielemans are good additions, but with the Éderson deal cancelled, United have just three midfielders to occupy the deeper positions. Mason Mount could play there, too, but his favoured position remains higher up the pitch.
United have been linked with AFC Bournemouth's Alex Scott and AS Roma's Manu Kone in recent weeks, but are yet to progress a deal further.
A third midfielder has to be the priority position for United's recruitment staff, with a left-back and another forward also areas to be addressed.
