Pressure is continuing to mount on Michael Carrick as his side prepares for a tough test against Leeds United at Elland Road.
Manchester United are still searching for their second league win of the campaign, and just their third overall after another poor performance against Atletico Madrid.
While Michael Carrick will certainly be pleased with some aspects of the 2-0 loss, the performance has been overshadowed by Lisandro Martínez's post-match interview, in which he made his feelings for director of football Jason Wilcox very clear.
Last time out in the Premier League, United suffered a poor draw against Tottenham Hotspur, having held onto a lead for just 20 minutes in the second half.
Last season, Rúben Amorim was dismissed after the 1-1 draw at Elland Road. While that was more about his comments towards Jason Wilcox, there's no doubt the form over the Christmas period also had an impact.
Michael Carrick will be keen for a win, though that has proven difficult against Daniel Farke: he has lost all five league meetings against the Leeds United head coach.
Opposition view: What do Man Utd fans need to know?

It’s always a big occasion when Leeds United and Manchester United meet, especially given the history between the two clubs. Sunday’s game at Elland Road will be another important test for Daniel Farke’s side, who have shown plenty of promise since returning to the Premier League.
Leeds have taken nine points from their opening five league games, and although last weekend’s 2-1 defeat to Arsenal was disappointing, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance. Farke’s side competed well against one of the best teams in the country and, for large periods, looked capable of taking something away from the Emirates.
Tactically, Leeds have looked more comfortable since moving towards a 3-5-2 system, which offers greater defensive security while allowing the wing-backs to provide width going forward. James Trafford’s distribution is another important part of their game, with the goalkeeper capable of playing through the press or clipping passes into the wide areas to get Leeds up the pitch quickly.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is arguably the biggest threat going forward, having already demonstrated his ability to score goals at this level, while Noah Okafor offers pace and directness alongside him. Ao Tanaka is another player United should keep an eye on, with the midfielder’s technical quality and ability to carry the ball helping Leeds progress through the pitch.
On the injury front, Farke is hopeful Daniel James will be available after picking up a minor injury on international duty. Joe Rodon remains sidelined, although the defender is expected to return in the coming weeks.
