Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Matheus Cunha and Noussair Mazraoui will return to Manchester United ahead of the fourth match of pre-season against Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United's pre-season campaign has been quite impressive after the first three matches against Wrexham, Rosenborg and Atletico Madrid.
In the first game, Andrey Santos made his United debut after his £50 million move from Chelsea – looking solid alongside Mason Mount in central midfield. Mount has continued to impress in his deeper role, with fans hoping he can stay fit to be an option in the middle of the park.
Rosenborg saw several impressive performances from United's youngsters – most notably Jaydan Kamason, who registered two assists after coming on at half-time. Harry Amass was another to showcase his talent, although it seems his future may lie elsewhere.
Against Atletico Madrid, 15-year-old JJ Gabriel made his first-team debut alongside 18-year-old Jim Thwaites. Gabriel has trained with Rúben Amorim and Michael Carrick's squad in the past, but has been too young to play until this summer.
United next face Paris Saint-Germain in pre-season, but their squad could look quite different to the one that has played so far.
Fernandes & more set for United return
As reported by Tyrone Marshall of MEN, Manchester United are set to welcome back club captain Bruno Fernandes this week after his post-World Cup holiday.
Returning with the United captain will be his international teammate Diogo Dalot, his right-back competitor Noussair Mazraoui, and Matheus Cunha.
Senne Lammens and Youri Tielemans reported to Carrington on Thursday but were not included in the travelling squad to face Atletico Madrid.
The exact date of Fernandes, Dalot, Mazraoui and Cunha's return remains unknown, but they will be hungry to be involved, especially after United's impressive performances so far in pre-season.
Dalot and Mazraoui could have an impact on Leny Yoro's game time against PSG. The Frenchman has been deployed at right-back in pre-season, claiming he can play as both a right-back and a centre-back.
"A new position for me? I'm still a centre-back. I'm playing there because Dalot and Mazraoui aren't there yet," Yoro said after the Atletico match.
"I like being on the pitch, so I can play in both positions. Being able to play in multiple roles is a good thing for the team.
"If I can help, all the better, plus I'm doing pretty well at it."
When will Mainoo & Martínez return?
Tyrone Marshall continued to explain that Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martínez and Marcus Rashford will return to the club after the match against Paris Saint-Germain.
At that time, United will be training in Ireland before the final two matches of pre-season against Leeds United and AC Milan.
Both Mainoo and Martínez are thought to be fit and ready after their injury issues. Mainoo missed the third-placed playoff for England due to a back problem, while Martínez was forced off during the World Cup final with a thigh injury.
Rashford is also expected to join the group after Barcelona chose not to activate his £26 million buy option.
