However, the summer will be just as big in terms of potential outgoings as well as incomings, with Marcus Rashford's name expected to dominate the headlines.
Everyone expected the Englishman to make the move to Barcelona permanently after registering 28 goals and assists, and scoring in the El Clásico to seal the title for the Catalan giants.
That deal is now in doubt, with Barcelona confirming Anthony Gordon as their latest summer signing on the wing. The deadline for Rashford's £26 million buy option has now passed.
Interest is now being rumoured to be growing from within and outside the Premier League.
Rashford with no shortage of suitors
Rumours have been constantly swirling about where Rashford could end up next season with his future still very much in the air. A shock report by TuttoJuve has linked the English starlet to Arsenal.
With Leandro Trossard expected to leave the English champions and Gabriel Martinelli failing to have the impact as he once did, it has been reported Mikel Arteta is looking for another option.
Rashford has been identified by Arsenal as winger with much needed experience, explosivness and skill which has caused them to monitor the situation.
Alongside the Gunners, TuttoJuve report that Juventus and Bayern Munich are also monitoring the situation. But for any deal to materialise, it would require Rashford to take a pay cut.
All three options unlikely
While Arsenal may be able to not only afford the reported £40 million release clause for Rashford, they will also be able to afford his wages.
However, in a recent report by the Athletic, the former Barcelona and Aston Villa loanee is unlikely to consider a move to any other Premier League club. He would rather see out his contract at United than move to another side in England.
As for Juventus, the lack of finances in the Serie A as a whole make this a deal that is unlikely. Especially since he is not a guarantees starter on the left with Kenan Yildiz being the king of Juventus of late.
For Bayern it seems unlikely they will go for another forward thanks to them being close to signing Ismael Saibari to compete on the left with Luis Diaz. If he was to move there would have to settle for a back up place behind Harry Kane which again makes this unlikely for both parties.
