Oliver Glasner has made Nottingham Forest's remaining transfer plans clear.
Nottingham Forest boss Oliver Glasner has laid out the Reds' plans for the remainder of the transfer window.
Glasner is just days away from his first competitive game in charge of Forest, the Reds' Premier League opener at home to Leeds United.
That game takes place on Saturday, but there is still more than a week before the transfer window slams shut, on September 1.
There are three new additions in the Forest squad: Xaver Schlager, Ousmane Diomande and Steven Benda, with a fourth, Gustavo Sa, joining sister club Olympiacos on loan.
Speaking ahead of his first competitive game at the City Ground, in the home dugout at least, Glasner has made the club's plans clear for the remainder of the transfer window.
He told media that he hopes the club will recruit two more high-quality players before the end of the window.
"It will be one or two [new signings], I'm very confident, no more," he insisted. "We already know the players we want to bring in, and now it's just about getting the deals done.
"Of course, it can be that we don't find an agreement with some players, [but] we already have two or three other options with the same profiles."
Shedding some light on the recruitment process, Glasner emphasised his desire to recruit specific profiles to his squad.
"I'm always talking about profiles," he revealed, "What kind of qualities and skills we should add to the team, and then the scouting department suggest a few players.
"We watch them and then we have a ranking, and always try to start with the top target, and if we can't get the top target, we try to get the second target.
"Sometimes you don't get the number one target due to different reasons, but we are prepared and I am very confident that we will bring in two more players with high quality, because this is what we wanted to add, not just numbers, but really adding quality."
It has been widely reported that Forest want to recruit a new wingback and striker before the transfer deadline.
Taiwo Awoniyi has left the club, leaving Chris Wood as the Reds' only out and out striker, with Igor Jesus also able to play in a 10 role as well as up front.
Liam Delap is one figure linked with a move to bolster Forest's striking options, while Fiorentina's Dodo is rumoured to be under strong consideration to fill the wingback role, but those links are less credible.
