A deep dive into Nottingham Forest's best Fantasy Premier League assets for the upcoming season.
Just days after Fantasy Premier League (FPL) launched for the 2026/27 season, some keen fans are already spending hours curating what they hope will be the perfect team.
In a world where Erling Haaland costs a record £15.5 million – an eye-watering 15 per cent of players' total budget – the hunt to find bargains has never been more important.
Despite a difficult Premier League campaign last time out, Nottingham Forest have a plethora of players who make for exciting options in this year's game.
Under Oliver Glasner, and without the distraction of European football, it promises to be a very exciting season at the City Ground.
Here is the lowdown on the three Forest stars who you should own in FPL this season if you want the best chance of winning your mini league!
3. Neco Williams (DEF - £5 million)
Neco Williams was Forest's Premier League Player of the Season last term, and the Reds' second-highest-scoring player in FPL last season.
Following the arrival of Oliver Glasner as head coach, though, Williams will play as a wing-back next season, in the Austrian's famed 3-4-2-1 system.
The more advanced role will likely expose the Welsh international to more potential attacking returns, but the solidity of Glasner's three-back system should solidify potential clean sheets.
FPL have also made a number of changes to the scoring system, with fewer bonus point scores awarded for clearances, blocks and interceptions.
The change has been made to counteract how many bonus points were earned by centre-backs last term, paving the way for more wingbacks – like Williams – to benefit from bonus points.
2. Morgan Gibbs-White (MID - £8 million)

The 26-year-old was one of Forest's standout players last term, and has shown little sign of slowing down on Trentside.
Gibbs-White was the fifth-highest-scoring player in FPL last season, and the third-highest-scoring midfielder, making his valuation this year, despite its increase, a true bargain.
Thomas Tuchel may rue not choosing Gibbs-White this summer, but you still have plenty of time to avoid making the same mistake!
1. Igor Jesus (FOR - £6 million)
At £6 million, Igor Jesus is quite possibly one of the best-value players in the entire game, let alone in Forest's squad.
Despite struggling at times during his debut season on Trentside, Jesus ended the season strong, with 10 Premier League goal involvements, as well as seven goals in just 800 Europa League minutes.
The Brazilian has continued to enjoy a strong pre-season, boasting a goal in each game so far, with strong accompanying performances under Glasner.
There is an element of risk, owing to Forest having a plethora of striker options, namely Chris Wood and Arnaut Kalimuendo; meanwhile, the Reds continue to be linked with a move for another new striker in the transfer market.
But with unlimited free transfers until the deadline for the first gameweek, he feels like a very low-risk, low-cost option who offers huge upside value.
