Noah Sadiki opened his Sunderland account in style on Thursday evening with his emphatic winner against SCU Torreense in the Europa League.

Following Jules Ahoka's equaliser, Sunderland found the winner in injury time courtesy of energetic midfielder Sadiki, who rifled a venomous strike into the top corner to score his first Black Cats goal and secure another European win for his side.

At full-time, the young midfielder was understandly emotional as a result of his winning goal, which spawned raucous celebrations in the stands from the travelling Wearside contingent.

Sadiki told Sunderland's media: “I can’t really explain it - it is something big that has happened. It is my first goal for the Club. I have been waiting for it, fighting for it, and shooting a lot for it.
