Sunderland stars out and doubtful for Bournemouth trip

Sunderland defender Thomas Meunier is confirmed by Regis Le Bris to be out for this weekend's trip to Bournemouth, with Wilson Isidor a major fitness doubt after both picked up knocks in the 2-0 defeat to Brighton.

However, after both were named on the bench for the midweek Europa League away win against Torreense, Habib Diarra and Brian Brobbey are available for the Cherries clash.

After Torreense, Le Bris said: "Wilson (Isidor) got a minor injury, and we'll assess day by day, we don't know for Bournemouth. For Thomas (Meunier), it's a no, definitive at the minute."

On the returning duo, Le Bris added: "They're training with the squad now, so they will be ready."
