It looks like a lot of Celtic fans do not agree with one decision Martin O'Neill has made for the Motherwell match.

Celtic might have won against the Rangers quite comfortably by the end but tougher tests lie ahead. Namely, the game against Motherwell away at Fir Park.

When it comes to the quality of football, Motherwell have probably been the best team in the league this season. While Celtic have needed to squeeze out wins, Jen Berthel Askou's team have been more pleasing on the eye.

That is one of the reasons why Askou is being linked with the Celtic job. But when the two teams meet tonight, fans will want Motherwell to put in their worst performance of the campaign.

Now, it is no longer about performances. Celtic just need to find a way to win their remaining two games in the league. Somehow. If they do, they are guaranteed to be champions of Scotland and won't need to depend on any other results.

Of course, that is easier said than done. While one would give the edge to Celtic for their match against Hearts at home, the same cannot be done when it comes to this Motherwell matchup.

Firstly, Motherwell will have the home advantage. Secondly, they are a team in form at the moment. They have beaten the Rangers and drawn against Hearts in the post-split fixtures. Could Celtic be the third title contender that they get the better of?

If Celtic lose to Motherwell and Hearts win against Falkirk, the title race will be over tonight. And even for the neutral fans, that might not be what is best for Scottish football.

So, let's hope Celtic can get a result against Motherwell tonight to set up a title decider against Hearts on the final day of the season when the top two meet at Parkhead.

Celtic have now named their team for the game against Motherwell and a lot of fans do not seem to agree with the decision to start with Benjamin Nygren.

One wrote: "Why Nygren?"

Another said: "Tounetki always missing when starting and Nygren has been missing for months. This line up doesn’t ease the fear."

Some would have started Reo Hatate instead: "Would’ve started Hatate over Nygren but solid."

Others felt Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should have gotten the nod: "Think it may have been time to try Ox over Nygren."

Nygren has been Celtic's top scorer this season. But the goals have dried up lately. And other than that, he is not offering much at the moment.

Anyways, it is what it is. Martin O'Neill has put the team out and he deserves plenty of credit for taking the title race to this point about how poor things had gotten towards the end of Brendan Rodgers' run and during the entirety of Wilfried Nancy's eight-game stint. Now, it is time to finish the job. Hopefully, the Northern Irishman has a few more rabbits to pull out of his magic hat.
