The concerns regarding Badredine Bouanani's future at Rangers beyond the January transfer window have already started to grow.

Rangers have already started reaping the fruits of their summer transfer window. The Teddy Bears brought in 14 new players this summer after appointing Derek McInnes as their new manager.

However, not all of these summer signings have been able to get into McInnes' starting lineup right away.

Players like Kevin Kelsy and Dan Neil have seemingly grown into their roles and adapted to the system of their new side quite brilliantly.

Others like Vanja Dragojevic and Cammy Devlin have struggled to make their mark at Ibrox following their highly anticipated move.

Another player who has been struggling to find his footing after moving to Rangers this summer is Badredine Bouanani.

The Algerian right-winger was brought in on a loan move from German side VfB Stuttgart, where he was in quite a similar situation.

Bouanani and Stuttgart decided on a loan move to the Gers as the 21-year-old wanted more game time in order to hone his skills.

However, the player's current situation has once again raised question marks from the Algerian media, who are worried about their youngster's development at Glasgow.

A recent report from Algerian outlet DZFoot's journalist Par Mahdi Zakaria L has shown concern for Bouanani's development at Rangers, pointing out the 21-year-old's lack of playing time under McInnes since his loan move from Stuttgart this summer.

Including his cameo against Kilmarnock this past weekend, Bouanani has only played a total of 98 minutes with the Glaswegian outfit so far this campaign.

Quite righfully, Mahdi Zakaria L and the Algerians are concerned about their talented winger who failed to feature in Brahim Hemdani's Algeria squad for the first camp.

Despite the 21-year-old's talent, lack of game time has turned out to be a crucial factor for his exclusion from the national side.

The concerns regarding Bouanani's future at Rangers beyond the January transfer window have already started to grow.

But at the same time, it doesn't really make any sense for McInnes to bench an in-form Kim Min-su, who has been a bedrock of the Gers' recent success.

Bouanani's situation at Ibrox is expected to change during the coming months, and the Light Blues' plans to bring in Max Dowman this winter could further hamper Bouanani's chances of getting more minutes at the club this season.

As a result, the Algerian winger and his parent club might look to cut short the player's stay at Rangers during the winter transfer window and find another suitable club for Bouanani to develop before playing first-team football at Stuttgart.
