As per a recent report, it will certainly not be easy for Rangers to rope in the teenage winger during the next transfer window.
Rangers continued their brilliant start to the season with a 3-1 win over Kilmarnock at Ibrox last Saturday.
Following the victory, the Gers extended their winning streak to seven games in all competitions and currently sit second in the Scottish Premiership table, only two points behind league leaders Celtic.
Unlike their crosstown rivals, the Teddy Bears failed to qualify for any European competition this season, giving them ample time to prepare for the domestic fixtures.
However, Derek McInnes remains without the services of two of his most prolific forwards in the form of Lawrence Shankland and Youssef Chermiti.
Summer signing Cammy Devlin has also been ruled out of action at least till the end of November, giving the new manager all kinds of problems.
Even after signing 14 new players this summer, the Light Blues are already feeling the need to make a couple more during the winter transfer window.
Arsenal starlet Max Dowman is seemingly on the Gers' radar for the upcoming transfer window, as the 16-year-old is reportedly pushing for game time following his induction into the senior side.
Undoubtedly, the teenage sensation is already being hailed as the best young talent to come out of the youth ranks since Bukayo Saka.
However, given the current competition in the squad and the Gunners' ambitions to win trophies, it is making it hard for Dowman to get the desired minutes.
The London-based side might look to loan out their talent during the January transfer window, and the Gers could turn out to be the perfect place for a talent like Dowman to thrive.
Earlier, it was mentioned that Celtic are also in contention to sign the talented right-winger alongside the Light Blues, but now a recent report from Football Insider claims that a number of English clubs are also inclined to bring in Dowman during the winter transfer window alongside the Old Firm sides.
As a result, it will certainly not be easy for the Gers to rope in the teenage winger during the next transfer window. And if they can actually bring him in, the 16-year-old could be the perfect understudy of Kim Min-su ahead of Badredine Bouanani.
For Dowman, a move to Rangers could work out quite well. He would get the chance to play in a team that is consistently competing for trophies, which would make sense for someone who is expected to be a regular for Arsenal some years down the line.
