Despite previous roadblocks, Rangers could now look to fast-track their approach to arrange a return to Ibrox for Mikey Moore.
Rangers have certainly left no stones unturned so far into the summer transfer window as they have already made seven additions to strengthen Derek McInnes' squad for the new season.
Serbian midfielder Vanja Dragojevic became their most recent summer signing, as the 20-year-old midfielder joined the Gers on a 4 year contract, with an option to extend for an extra campaign.
Following two back-to-back disappointing seasons, the Gers are now looking to get back to winning ways.
Although the transfer window for Rangers is far from over, as they are still looking to bring in a few more reinforcements before the start of the Scottish Premiership.
One of them could well turn out to be Mikey Moore, who was also a part of the Teddy Bears' squad last season.
Moore came on a season-long loan from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur as the 18-year-old became a fan favorite at Ibrox.
Just as the saying goes, 'never fall in love with a loan player', the fans wanted the winger to continue at the club, but Rangers were falling behind in their pursuit of extending Moore's stay for at least another campaign.
Now, according to a recent report from journalist Marlon Irlbacher, the Gers could once again claim pole position for another loan move for Moore.
The report suggests that FC Koln, who were previously thought to be the favorites to sign the England U-19 international on a permanent transfer, have now backed out of the deal.
This leaves Spurs with only two options currently, one being the Glaswegians and the other, Borussia Dortmund.
It is highly unlikely that Moore will get more minutes at Signal Iduna Park than at Ibrox, as the youngster had a brilliant campaign last time around with the Gers while on loan.
Moore scored a total of seven goals and provided seven assists for the Light Blues last season, including two goals against arch-rivals Celtic.
Watching Moore's brilliant development at Rangers last season, Spurs might just get convinced enough to extend their highly valued youngster's stay in Scotland.
As for Rangers, they are also reportedly interested in another winger in the form of Amario Cozier-Duberry and are reportedly looking to get into negotiations with Brighton regarding a probable transfer this summer.
Whether it would be Moore or Cozier-Duberry, the Gers are almost certain that they will add another winger to their squad before they start the new campaign under McInnes next month.
