Hull City is preparing a move for Olympiacos goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis, who is also wanted by Leeds United and Arsenal.

Hull City is preparing a move to sign a transfer target they share with both Leeds United and Arsenal, according to reports. It concerns an Olympiacos star.

According to the Greek outlet Sportal.gr, the newly promoted Premier League club is closely monitoring the situation of Thrylos keeper Konstantinos Tzolakis.

"Konstantinos Tzolakis is still being targeted by teams from England, and Hull City is one of those who are monitoring his situation very closely," the cited site began explaining.

The report indicates that Hull City has a positive opinion of the Olympiacos goalkeeper, who is also an international with Greece, and is willing to make a proposal.

"The English club has formed an excellent opinion of the Olympiacos international goalkeeper and is seriously considering the possibility of submitting a proposal, knowing, of course, from the first moment the difficulties that accompany such a case."

That said, the Greek club's management considers Tzolakis a key part of their project and, for now, they will not let him leave. At least not easily.

The report indicates that the Greek club would not consider letting its player go for less than €30 million.

The cited outlet insists that Hull City intends to make a strong move for the player. Either way, the operation would be complicated, not only because of Olympiacos' stance but also because of the competition. According to Sportal.gr, Leeds United, Arsenal, and Coventry City are also interested.

"Leeds, Coventry, and Arsenal have also been linked in the past, proving that his name has gained significant momentum in the English market. This is also helped by the agency that represents him, which has strong contacts and a presence in English football."

In fact, there was a recent development regarding Leeds. According to reports, the English club could show renewed interest in Tzolakis after Newcastle United called up another Whites target, Nick Pope, for preseason.

The West Yorkshire side looked forward to making contact with Pope following the Magpies' announcement of Stade Reims goalie Ewen Jaouen on a permanent transfer as he completes his medical examinations.

However, Eddie Howe has asked the Ipswich Town academy graduate to report for the Tyneside club's preseason duties. So, apparently, the competition for Tzolakis will be fierce this summer, and even Olympiacos will have to compete to convince the player that the best thing for him is to stay in Piraeus.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper began getting minutes with the Olympiacos first team during the 2019-20 season, where he made three appearances. However, it was not until the 2023-24 season that he secured a key role on his team and was very important for head coach Jose Luis Mendilibar and for winning the UEFA Conference League.
