Nottingham Forest's unexpected condition to Manchester City regarding the sale of Elliot Anderson could benefit Olympiacos. The surprise stipulation might work in the Greek club's favor.

According to reports, Nottingham Forest F.C. is close to selling midfielder Elliot Anderson to Manchester City F.C. for around £120 million. The English club, owned by Evangelos Marinakis, has requested a condition from the Citizens that could benefit Greek giants Olympiacos F.C.

Sources have told OlympiacosRoundtable that, as part of the negotiation between Forest and Man City, representatives of the Marinakis Football Group asked that other transfers from the City Football Group to one of the clubs owned by Evangelos Marinakis be facilitated.

The Greek businessman intends to take advantage of the situation to secure one or several reinforcements for his teams. In this case, the Greek side Olympiacos and the Portuguese club Rio Ave F.C.

But it is the case of the Red and Whites that carries more relevance because, in fact, Jose Luis Mendilibar's team has been linked to several players from Girona F.C., which is part of the City Football Group.

The most recent example is Spanish winger Joel Roca. According to multiple reports from Greece and Spain, Olympiacos is in advanced negotiations to sign the 21-year-old forward. But it is not the only case.

Moroccan midfielder Azzedine Ounahi and winger Bryan Gil, both from Girona, have also been linked to Olympiacos. In these cases, however, it concerns two more experienced players who generate a lot of international interest, so convincing them to go to Greece seems more complicated.

In any case, the information we received refers to possible multiple moves from the City Football Group to the Marinakis Football Group. Signings for Rio Ave cannot be ruled out either, nor moves from other clubs such as New York City F.C. or Montevideo City Torque.

Let's see.
