Lando Norris and His Coca-Cola: The World Champion is Showing Character
Lando Norris is recently showing some character, and why shouldn't he? He's the reigning World Champion.
The McLaren driver delivered a statement in qualifying on Saturday, taking the inaugural pole position at the Circuito de Madring by just 0.011 seconds over championship leader Kimi Antonelli. Norris was ecstatic about that lap, with one of the F1 broadcast commentators saying that it was a "champion lap" for the British racer.

Piastri Loses Positions at Monza for Impeding Lawson
The starting order for the Italian Grand Prix underwent a significant modification after qualifying. Oscar Piastri, who had achieved a meritorious third place in Saturday's session, was penalized with three grid positions for impeding Liam Lawson during Q2. The McLaren driver will thus drop to sixth place, promoting the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton as well as Max Verstappen's Red Bull.
The stewards' decision came after analyzing the images, telemetry data and listening to the statements of both drivers and their respective teams. The incident occurred in the final stages of Q2 when Piastri was leaving the pits and encountered traffic at Monza's first chicane. Lawson, who was on a fast lap, was surprised by the McLaren's presence and lost valuable time that prevented him from accessing Q3.

Lando Norris’s Best F1 Races Ranked: His Greatest Drives So Far
These past few weeks have been glorious for McLaren driver and reigning World Champion Lando Norris.

Lando Norris Given 10-Place Grid Penalty

Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren Exploit Monaco Winglet Loophole
The explanation must be found in the regulations, this weekend the Straight Mode is not used, an active aerodynamics system that allows reducing downforce on the straights to gain top speed.

The 10 Youngest Drivers to Win a Grand Prix in F1 History
Verstappen leads the list as the youngest winner in Formula 1 history. He was 18 years and 7 months old when he won in Spain in 2016. It’s worth noting that it was his debut with Red Bull after coming from Toro Rosso, and the weekend was chaotic from the start with the crash between the two Mercedes on the first lap. Thanks to that and suddenly, the Dutchman found himself in the lead and held off the constant pressure from Kimi Raikkonen to cross the line by just six-tenths.
Antonelli appears second at 19 years and 6 months after his recent triumph in Shanghai. He started from the back, moved up and held off George Russell and the Ferraris without making mistakes. He ended up winning by a five-second margin and couldn’t hide his happiness once the race was over, crying with emotion.
