

For the first time this year, the World Series will be heading to Los Angeles.
The Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers will play Game 3 of the World Series at 8 p.m. ET on Monday at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The two teams are tied 1-1 after splitting the first two games at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
The Blue Jays won Game 11-4 and the Dodgers won Game 2 5-1.
Toronto was able to split the first two games of the best-of-seven championship series against the defending champions with one of its best players in-and-out of the lineup.
In Game 1 on Oct. 24, infielder Bo Bichette was in the lineup in the cleanup spot playing second. It was his first game back since Sept. 6 due to a left knee sprain.
Bichette went 1-for-2 and drew a walk. He was pinch-hit for later in the game by Isiah Kiner-Falefa.
In Game 2 on Oct. 25, Bichette was held out of the starting lineup. Kiner-Falefa started the game. Bichette pinch-hit and entered the game at second for Kiner-Falefa later in the game and went 0-for-1.
Ahead of Game 3 of the World Series, Bichette was back in the starting lineup batting cleanup and playing second base.
Bichette was one of the most efficient hitters in the American League this season.
Bichette scored 78 runs in 139 games and hit 44 doubles, a triple and 18 home runs with 94 RBIs. He slashed .311/.357/.483 with an .840 OPS. His batting average was second in the majors behind New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (.331).
Bichette's RBIs were the second-most in a single season in his career and his OPS was tied for the highest in his career aside from his debut year in 2019 where he played 46 games.
