Milwaukee Brewers prospect Andrew Fischer hit his 43rd home run of the season to tie Kris Bryant for the most minor-league homers.

Andrew Fischer continues to put together one of the most impressive power seasons in the minor leagues.

The Milwaukee Brewers prospect added another milestone to his resume Tuesday night, launching his 43rd home run of the season during Double-A Biloxi’s 8-7 victory over the Birmingham Barons at Keesler Federal Park.

Fischer’s latest blast moved him into a tie with former National League MVP Kris Bryant for the most home runs in a minor-league season since 2014. The accomplishment is another indication of just how productive the 22-year-old has been throughout the 2026 campaign.

The Brewers’ No. 5 prospect entered the night already leading the minor leagues in home runs. He has split the season between High-A Wisconsin and Double-A Biloxi, hitting 20 homers with Wisconsin before adding another 23 since joining Biloxi.

His 43 total home runs have come in a season where he has consistently provided power throughout different levels of the Brewers' system. Fischer also has more than 100 RBIs on the year, giving him one of the more productive offensive seasons among Minor League hitters.

Tuesday’s performance was about more than just the home run.

Fischer went 3-for-4 with a walk and contributed throughout the contest as Biloxi and Birmingham traded the lead several times. His home run came in the opening inning, when he sent a two-run shot to right field after reaching base earlier in the frame.

The blast gave Biloxi an immediate response after Birmingham scored three times in the top half of the inning.

Fischer remained involved as the game progressed. He drove in another run with a single in the fourth inning before eventually scoring the tying run following a sixth-inning single. Biloxi later took control in the eighth inning, scoring the go-ahead run on a Matthew Wood single.

The performance added to what has already been a remarkable stretch for Fischer. He reached 40 home runs last week after hitting three in a single game, becoming the first minor leaguer to reach that mark this season.

His production has also earned him repeated recognition from MLB Pipeline. Fischer was recently selected to the Prospect Team of the Week for the fourth time this season, further highlighting his consistency at the plate.

There are still areas of his game that Fischer will need to improve as he continues his development. His defensive position remains unsettled after beginning the year at third base and later seeing more time at first base with Biloxi. He has also struck out frequently, ranking among the minor-league leaders in that category.

Still, the impact of his power is difficult to overlook.

Fischer’s ability to consistently drive the ball out of the ballpark has made him one of the most productive hitters in the Brewers' organization. With 43 home runs already on his 2026 resume, he is now within striking distance of another piece of minor-league history.

For a prospect whose primary calling card is his power, Fischer is making an increasingly strong case that his bat could eventually carry him to Milwaukee.
