Mike Sirota reached Triple-A for the first time on Saturday for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Mike Sirota's rapid ascent through the Los Angeles Dodgers' minor-league system continued Saturday as the organization's No. 2 prospect reached Triple-A for the first time.
The promotion gave Sirota a chance to play at three different minor-league levels during the 2026 season, capping a year in which the 23-year-old outfielder established himself as one of the organization's most productive hitters.
Sirota made his Oklahoma City debut with the Comets during the last few games of the regular season. Despite facing Triple-A pitching for the first time, he immediately showed the same approach that helped him climb the organizational ladder.
After drawing walks in his first two plate appearances, Sirota recorded his first Triple-A hit in the seventh inning. He lined a double into right-center field before drawing another walk later in the game.
Sirota finished 1-for-2 with a double and three walks as Oklahoma City fell 14-8 to El Paso. While the result was not what the Comets wanted, the performance provided another example of the offensive consistency that has defined Sirota's season.
His arrival in Oklahoma City came only days after Tulsa's season ended in the Texas League Division Series. Sirota had been a key part of the Drillers' postseason run, including a memorable performance in Game 1 when he launched a 423-foot home run to left field.
With all four full-season Dodgers affiliates reaching the postseason, Sirota was able to quickly transition from one playoff environment to another. Rather than ending his season with Tulsa, he received an opportunity to contribute to Oklahoma City's pursuit of a Pacific Coast League championship.
The Comets will begin their championship series against the Las Vegas Aviators on Tuesday, giving Sirota another chance to gain valuable experience against Triple-A competition.
The promotion is fitting for a player who has spent much of 2026 moving quickly through the Dodgers' system. Sirota put together a 72-game on-base streak earlier this season while splitting time between High-A Great Lakes and Tulsa.
Across 107 games between three levels, Sirota has hit .307 with a .992 OPS, giving him one of the strongest offensive seasons among Dodgers Minor Leaguers. He currently ranks No. 14 on MLB Pipeline's Top 100 Prospects list and No. 2 within the Dodgers' system.
Sirota's opportunity also comes at a time when the Dodgers have demonstrated their willingness to challenge highly regarded prospects in meaningful situations. Josue De Paula, the organization's top prospect, has already made an impact with the major-league club as Los Angeles prepares for another postseason run.
Sirota will not be joining the Dodgers' playoff roster, but his Triple-A promotion gives him an opportunity to finish an impressive season on another significant stage.
For a prospect who has consistently earned the next opportunity throughout 2026, the move to Oklahoma City represents another important step toward the major leagues.
